Easter Story Snack Mix

Easter is one of the most important times of the year for a Christian. It is the celebration of Christ’s death and resurrection and the eternal payment for our sins. It just so happens to also be my favorite holiday. Spring gives way to new things. Life returns to the earth and the harshness of winter ceases. Winter is the dormancy and death of the “Old”, where as Spring is birth to the “New”. It truly is symbolic of what Christ has done for us.

I wanted to try to bring the Easter story to life for my son when I stumbled upon this neat visual to go with the Easter Story, a snack mix. Each item in the snack mix is symbolic for a part of the Easter story and it really helps children to visual the entire story of Easter, in a palatable form.
