Happy August my peeps! We still have plenty of summer left, which means for today’s Must Have Monday we are going to focus on all of our family favorites when going to the beach!
We absolutely love going to the beach, and being a creature of comfort, I like to make sure we have all that we need to make the experience the best possible.
Today I will be sharing with you the top items that take our trip to the next level.
Folding Beach Wagon
This wagon is a life saver when carrying multiple items back and forth from the beach to the car, I try to limit to only one trip back and forth if possible, and this cart does the job. You do have to pull it through the sand, so I do not recommend this for long trips through the beach. It is so lightweight and does not take up much space as it is collapsable.
Pop Up Tent
This SPF 50+ tent is a MUST. Protecting my family and I from the harsh rays is absolutely necessary when sitting out at the beach, this is the perfect place to keep your items out of direct sunlight, as well as your self. I love that the windows open up, this helps to let the breeze through. This is a great tent especially if you have young children, its large enough to hold items and also hold a child or two while they nap. The tent sets up in less than a minute and to take it down it only takes a few. This is the best purchase I have made this year.
Inflatable Beach Lounger
I remember when I first saw this lounger, and I wont even tell you what I was thinking, but this is a game changer, this is the perfect way to add extra seating to your beach set up, it cleans up great and it holds a ton of weight. Its perfect for lounging and catching some rays or just kicking back under the umbrella.
Pool Hammock Raft
We love to float in the lake, and this is the perfect, lightweight raft, to do the job. You don’t need to sit there for 3+ hours blowing up this raft, and its easy to haul back and forth. The kids (and me too, if I am honest) love to sit and let the waves bob us up and down, these are a must have for chilling in the lake or pool!
Towel Bands
Are you tired of your towel blowing away? Yeah, I was too. This is such an inexpensive way to keep your towel in place. I just simply wrap the and around my towel and chair and it doesn’t go anywhere, clips work great also!
Backpack Beach Chairs
Never underestimate the power of a great beach chair, and Tommy Bahama is the best in my opinion. These are a little pricier, but they connivence they provide is worth the price. These chairs can be worn as backpacks, they fold out so easy, they are so comfortable, ergonomic, and they have great storage. I could sit in a beach chair for hours, if you could too, this is the one for you.
Sand Coasters
This is one of those things you didn’t realize you needed until you have it. This is the perfect way to keep your drinks or phone out of the sand, they also make for a fun sand toy for your toddler, don’t ask me how I know.
Beach Towels
You can’t have a must have beach list without a great beach towel. These towels are not only beautiful, but functional as well. I love the feel, they dry quickly, which is a plus.
IGLOO Cooler
Last but certainly not least is a great portable cooler. This was great for a family of four, packing snacks, keeping drinks cold, and its easy to haul back and forth.
